Jackfield Mill Ironbridge Gorge

Beautiful property, lovely quiet location

Location was good for walking and visiting pubs :) - Apartment was very clean and it was easy to find and get the keys. Host was very friendly and easy to contact. Easy to get to the Telford International centre didn't do any sightseeing so cant really comment. Lots of towels and kitchen was well equipped, even had tablets for the dishwasher (I've found this to be is rare in rentals). Nice information booklet.

We had a plug socket not working in a bedroom though it wasn't an issue and the outside lights didn't work, which was a slight issue for the one smoker in the party. Coffee pods would have been a nice touch for the coffee machine. Not really much to do socially in the direct surroundings, apart from a few pubs, there we no local shops or restaurants, so on the first night we didn't eat as by the time we got there the pubs had stopped serving food. Phone signal poor (The majority of these points are for information only as out of the hosts hands)

What a lovely property. Literally booked the day before going. It was warm and cosy. Ideal for Ironbridge walking and the museums. Communication with host was excellent.

Not the property's fault but mobile phone signal was rubbish. Once on WiFi all was great.

Location was amazing, perfect for touring Ironbridge and surrounding museums. Lovely to be beside Maws Craft Centre

I found all steps a bit challenging, but that is the nature of an old building.

The multi-floor apartment was in a perfect location to explore Ironbridge and the various museums with many excellent walks from the door. It had a well-equipped kitchen and good sized lounge. The bathroom was clean and general condition of the property was fine. Although we didn't meet the owner, they were appeared very friendly and contactable to sort out issues etc.

Although we enjoyed our stay, we do prefer a firmer mattress to get a good nights sleep. Also, we were a bit disappointed that there were no local history books or guides, especially since the area is mainly visited due to its industrial heritage. It would be useful to have instructions about use of the TV and Sky box in the visitor information file.

Absolute top notch

Very well equipped with generous supplies of loo roll and hand soap dishwasher tablets etc.

Car parking can be a challenge but we did have 2 cars and some alternatives were possible

Perfect location for visiting the historic and picturesque area. We loved leaving the car and walking everywhere . It was also really quiet .

It would have been great to have appliance instructions but we worked them out.
