Beautiful Bungalow CBD

The property and facilities paid for were misrepresented, and did not reflect advertised photos or feedback of Beautiful Bungalow CBD booking.com. Our accommodation was a studio bunker. There were some nice decorative touches. However, I would have preferred a sunny room that was advertised with pool views, without a damp smell.

We were very disapointed. The property we booked was advertised as Beautiful Bungalow CBD with pool views. However, the property provided was called the bunker, which was a studio to the side which was dark and smelt damp inside, with no pool views, only views out to courtyard area which was not maintained. We were also unable to utilise the pool facilities due to a the guests in the bungalow advertised, throwing party in the pool area which we were not advised about by our host. Not a pleasant evening.

There are two properties available here, and most of the reviews are for the four-bedroom house. We stayed in the other place, which is advertised as a "one-bedroom house". But IT IS DEFINITELY NOT A HOUSE. At best, it's a small self-contained apartment - or what we call a "granny flat" in Australia - in a corner of the garden at the back of the main house. Everything apart from the bathroom is crammed into the "one bedroom" - including the bed, kitchen sink, a small kitchen bench, a tiny table, and appliances. There's also a tiny outdoor area. If you're planning to stay here, be warned that most of the advertising about the property is about the main house, and NOT about this apartment. To be honest, if we had known we were getting a small apartment instead of a "one-bedroom house", we would have chosen somewhere else.

The villa is very quaint with many personal furnishings touches. The owners were very helpful and attentive and we very much appreciated the generous welcome gifts. A lovely experience that we would highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this place. House was super homey and comfortable with plenty of room for our group of 7. We ended up spending some time in the living room since it was so nice. Kitchen is well stocked, and also really nice to have a washer/dryer with detergent. Hosts were delightful. Thank you!

A Spa pool would be great!!

It fit us all in comfortably and there were lovely spaces we could break away to.

Upon arrival the pool was not full as we were “out of season” this took the shine off our stay a little as it was not mentioned anywhere. This was remedied and the pool was filled overnight/by day via Cell contact and by the 3rd day we had a full pool.
