The Old Pumping Station, Broseley, Ironbridge Gorge

Really quaint, everything that was needed supplied. Host very prompt when we had a question.

Quirky, well-equipped, peacefully situated on the edge of a very pretty village, easy to get to Ironbridge and ok to get to David Austin's rose garden along some very rolling English roads! For me, very unusually, the bed got a 10 for comfort! Nice private grassy area to front with bench for taking early or late cuppas. If we'd had time would love to have explored Speeds Lane itself with its many dollshouse-like, chocolate box cottages.

Quirky doesn't always equal practical! Loved all the cogs and wheels and pipework but when you're 5'2 or 3' like my daughter and I it was difficult to access the bench seating, and the kitchen cupboards and mirrors were on the high side for us

Its location was perfect. It was very clean, well equipped, everything we needed for our stay.

Great property, host was great and understanding when something came up and we needed to change dates. Beautiful area and local walks were great for our dog. Communication was great throughout and we’ll definitely be staying if in the area again. Thank you for a lovely stay
