Very close to the sea and loads of restaurants in walking distance.

The host was extremely friendly! Casa Rosa is well equipped and newly renovated, with a convenient location. Really met our expectations!

Very nice, cozy, big apartment with three bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Very friendly host. Only the upper room lacked air conditioning.

I booked this accommodation for a group of us attending a wedding in the Santa Tecla area. Maria was very communicative prior to the stay and throughout and accommodating, allowing me to stay in the apartment for an extra night before the rest of our group arrived. Really excellent location just 5 minutes down the steps to the port of Acitrezza and all the bars and restaurants. There are so many to choose from one is spoilt for choice. Maria does not speak much English and my Italian is non existent so it was useful to be able to communicate via Google Translate. She did give some recommendations for local breakfast and dinner which we enjoyed. Acitrezza itself is a quaint and cute little village with some geological formations in the sea being the main draw for tourists. It got very busy over the weekend we were there. A short drive away, I found Acitrezza Castello much more enchanting with its castle and the area around it with bars and restaurants offering a lovely view towards the sea.

It’s an older property which has been modernised and refreshed to a high standard. However the small hot water tank becomes as issue when there is a group. We had to time our showers and sometimes the water did go lukewarm and cold before time was up. Then rest of the group had to wait 20 minutes for the water to be heated up again. Maria had warned about this beforehand but it was still a challenge for the three of us to manage properly and also just have an enjoyable shower experience.

The owners are a very friendly couple living on the upper floor. The flat is refurbished and very clean. You can see the care in the lavender bags in the drawers. It is not in the city center. We went in a rented car. Parking was easy. They also provided a free of charge garage. We drove to Taormina, Syracuse during the day and turned back to the flat to sleep. It is a perfect option for this kind of plan.
