great location in a great town. comfortable with most of what you needed.

the heating didn’t work!

Loved the position in the village and sea on the doorstep. Loved all the little attention to detail and welcoming snacks.

generally really lovely, clean properly. great location.

Although I didn’t actually stay at the property. one of the guests commented on the steep staircase?

Positives - great location between the high street and the beach; spotlessly clean.

Negatives - owner messaged me before the stay saying she would only be preparing one of the rooms, despite me booking the entire cottage. I explained that I was with my aunt and that I would be sleeping in a separate room. The owner then said that the other room would also be prepared, but indicated that one of the bunks would be for the next guest after me. it’s a small thing but doesn’t create a good impression. Neither did the response to my request to check in a couple of hours early (at 2 rather than 4) - owner sent a pre-drafted email requesting additional money to be sent to the owner’s bank account if I wanted to check in early. Again, a small thing but not a great impression.

Location is excellent beiing close to the beach and town. Cottage very comfortable, we would sty in this cottege again.

I would say nothing. I can imagine in the summer the beer garden behind could be noisy. Not that anything can be done.
