The Hawthorn Shepherds Hut

A lovely quirky place, beautifully situated with everything we needed for a long weekend. Surroundings so neat and tidy with a super view. Very quiet. Loved the composting toilet which was a new experience. Hosts were so welcoming. Comfy bed. Bathroom very snug but workable. Highly recommended.

Location was superb with unrestricted views to the sea. Shepherds hut was small but perfectly situated with everything you would need for a weekend. Outside space was fabulous and private so you felt truly relaxed.

For me I had no dislikes however I would say if you are a larger person probably not for you as it is a hut on wheels with not much space. Also it is a composting toilet which may put some off. I have to say it was not a problem for us at all. It was clean with no smell.

Very enjoyable visit in good location. Quiet spot with nearby attractive places to visit.

It was self-catering and the kitchenette was very well equipped.

The written instructions on how to get to the location were not precise enough. My Dutch satnav couldn't find the address, not even from the postcode. A sketchmap would have been useful

Everything I needed, great location and very comfortable.

Utterly trivial point: no bread knife.
