Tudor Cottage

Great location and very convenient for local shops. The house was a nice and warm and not cold at all. Log burner was a good feature and made for a cosy atmosphere. Overall a very enjoyable stay and great to see this c1500 property well cared for.

One would need to be very careful when going up or down the stairs as it’s an old property and full of character.

Leak from rain coming through bathroom light fixture which cause electricity to trip. House cleaner had to cut out bathroom electricity so me and my mum (mum is in 80’s) had one day and one evening with no lights in bathroom. This was not good for my mum who had to use a torch to go to bathroom during the night.

The cottage it’s sparkling clean and it has everything you need. Also the host is always ready to help! Highly recommended:)

Wonderful cottage in a perfect location. My little Frenchie had the most amazing time exploring. All the local pubs, cafes and Italian across the road are dog-friendly. The cafe next door has the most amazing brownies. There are lovely local walks by the river - just follow the 'river walk' sign next to the Italian restaurant. The cottage is the most beautiful place I've ever stayed. Always found a car parking space. The Wildlife Park and Cirencester are both only a 15/20 minute drive away. Huge credit to the owners. Thank you and we cannot wait to return. Great communication too 😊

Great location, nice quiet garden space, really comfy big bed

Although a nice quiet garden, was located away from back door so had to lock Up and take key when spending time in garden and wasn’t handy for letting dog into garden for night time pee. Directly on a fairly busy main road (didn’t realise).

The character of the property was lovely and felt authentic but had all modern appliances required

The shower whilst authentic, isn't very practical

It’s character, location. Beds were large and comfortable. Plenty of books and dvds
