The Thin Seagull 4 Beacon Terrace Ferryden

Absolutely loved our cosy 2 night stay here in such a beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped flat. Cath was a lovely informative host (we walked to the lighthouse on her recommendation) and the wine and chocolate was such a nice gift. We will definitely be back!!

Comfort. quaintness facilities

The flat was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Very nicely decorated with a coastal theme. Great view of the harbour to watch the ships coming and going and a field of flowering potatoes at the rear. Contact with the owner was friendly, useful and informative.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Lovely walk to Scurdie Ness lighthouse. Handy for railway station. It's interesting to watch vessels passing by to/from the docks. It is very cosy flat and well equipped, but a microwave would be useful, although space is at a premium

There was never a problem turning the car or parking outside, but I always wondered if it would be ok!

Quaint, compact, quirky, beautifully decorated, lovely view to the harbour and fields behind. In an old fishing village with lovely walks close by.

Spotlessly clean, comfy, beautiful and unique little flat. So many lovely touches everywhere, including a welcome bottle of wine and chocolate! Friendly and helpful owner. Will be back here in future.

Great place, spotlessly clean with all you need, very quiet with an easily contactable host.

No microwave but excellent cooker and oven so probably ate healthier due to this!

The first-floor flat is secluded, with views in both directions, north across the river to the hills and south across a open country. The flat is comprehensively equipped, with plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and kitchenware. Although there is no television (a plus point for us), there is free Wi-fi and lots of neat finishing touches. Ferryden has no shops, but Montrose is only a short drive or bus ride away, with a good choice of places to eat out. On-street parking is available close to the flat and there is little traffic on the cul-de-sac.
