I have to pay a deposit (refundable) upon check-in. I am not aware of this and certainly did not come across this matter in Booking.com when I made the booking in Booking.com. I was surprised, there is such thing as deposit. My previous few bookings did not require a deposit. I was told on the morning (few hours) before I arrived at the facility. The property management also requested personal info for check-in - all these are available from Booking.com when I made my booking. I don't know why I have to provide again directly to the property owner. I am quite reluctant (due to data privacy) but had to give in as I am near to check in time and was busy to change anything or call Booking.com to clarify. I also cannot pay in cash the deposit, had to payment directly to the property owner bank account. I had to stop my work and do the bank transfer and also provide all the personal check in information - disrupting my work. I found this very hassle. Booking.com should have included the deposit payment when I make my bookings and provide the check-in info to the property owner. I think all billing and payment should be dealt with Booking.com. On the property, I would like to suggest the management to change the squat toilet to sit down toilet for the toilet kitchen. There is still some smell (very minor) even with door closed from the kitchen toilet. On the front porch, I suggest to add a few feet owning because when the rain is heavy, water reached the door and wet the shoes that was kept outside. This is a residential place, so neighbours shouting at the children and children crying can be heard - not really disturbing, it is bearable.

The room is not worth the money. Sofa is dirty, water heater is loud. Floor is dusty, The bed is not comfortable, bathroom is dirty and smelly as well, second room takes a long time to get cold as the celling is high with just 1 horsepower air conditioning. Overall the price is too expensive which is not worth what is provided
