The house is very cozy and has minimarkets, bakeries, cafes, fruit shops, and pharmacies nearby. It's also a 2km drive from Meco Beach. Despite the few parking spaces around, I always managed to park. The host is always ready to help.

Wear marks such as loose baseboards. The shower was clogged, causing water to overflow onto the floor.

We had a wonderful stay here and found the location perfect for us. There is a supermarket & an ATM very close by and a coffee shop and several wonderful restaurants. The host was excellent in his communication and instructions. We went to Horse Bay & Sesimbra Castle & town and to Porthinho da Arrabida, all of which were beautiful. You can also walk to Meco beach in under 30 minutes from the property. It was was perfect stay for us and we hope to return. Special mention to the local restaurant Tasca do Márcio. It was always busy & the food was delicious.

Everything was perfect. The apartment was clean, fresh and well kitted out. Check in and out was a breeze. There is a shop a few steps away for essentials. Parking can be an issue when it's busy but we always got a spot.

The host's behavior was very unfriendly. Bad privacy because of barking dogs and neighbors. Formally it's a house but, in fact, neighbors with shared walls. Very small.

Very easy + quick check-in + check-out using KeySafe facility. Excellent communication right from the start with Fernando. We fell in love with this traquil, friendly small town of Alfarim! Small enough, yet all you need. Great restaurants + coffee shops within walking distance. We had a car, which enabled us to also visit the towns of Setubal, Seisimbra + Caparica. Plenty of parking in early September a few steps from the house. The BEST beach in the entire area for us is Praia do Meco, which is a 5 mins drive or 15min walk. It is quiet, has organised beach beds, but both left + right of these are open stretches where you can set up your umbrella etc. The beach is kms long with cliffs behind the beach. Access is easy with plenty of parking, yet the beach retains a huge amount of tranquility. We even had dolphins swimming past in the bay the one day!! The accommodation is surprisingly more modern + stylish than the photos depict. Good attention to detail! Super comfy mattress, good linen + towels. Downstairs is the bathroom (good shower pressure) and a spacious, open planned lounge with fully kitted kitchenette with everything you may need. Bedroom is upstairs, with a quaint sloped ceiling. This place is very well maintained + everything is in good working order. Thank you Fernando for that beautiful cheese + wine welcoming gift! We had a wonderful stay + shall return without hesitation.
