Villa Manu

Manola is a great and very gracious host. First night, she made a reservation for the four of us in a great nearby restaurant, We went back there again and it was as great as the first time. The willa is beautiful and situated on the hill in the olive garden with terrace downstairs and a spacious balcony with a view of an olive garden and also the sea. The kitchen is well equipped and bedrooms have very comfortable beds.

This was one of the most enjoyable experiences we’ve had our whole trip. The view from the villa is stunning as you get to wake and have your coffee looking across the water on the villa’s very spacious grounds. You get access to the full villa so it really feels like you get to understand what it’s like living here. There is Air Conditioning in every room so it would a comfortable stay even in the hottest months. Our host, Manola, was also one of the highlights of our trip. She was extremely responsive, picked us up from the train station and was willing to drive us around if we needed. She gave us a ton of great recommendations on the best sights, where to eat and how to get around. She really made travelling in and around Sorrento so much easier for us. She’s also very well connected with the locals, so if you need anything, she’ll personally get you connected with the right person. We can’t say enough good things about the Villa, this really was one of the most amazing places we’ve ever stayed while travelling.

The road leading towards the house is a little scary by North American standards as it’s quite narrow. It’s only a minute walk from the bus stop though, so you can’t really do much better when staying in this area. There is also space to park your car, so this is not a problem at all if you’re driving.
