A rare find. Fantastic location within a few hundred yards of the town centre. The property was a perfect size for a couple wanting a comfortable and relaxing stay. Very comfortable and spacious bedroom. Plenty of storage for personal items and food. Welcome pack was superb with all the essentials and a few treats too. Great WiFi and connected Smart TV. The perfect candidate for top of our favourites list and we will return.

Water pressure was sometimes an issue but not something the property owners could do anything about. Unfortunate noisy ground works across from the property on our stay but only lasted an hour or two.

A very cosy and clean house. I really liked the breakfast basket and that so many basics were provided such as milk, bread, butter, cooking oil and water

Excellent place to stay. Would highly recommend. Had everything you needed for a comfortable break. Host was exceptional in her comments to welcome you.

It was very well equipped, comfortable and clean. I travelled through flood water and damaged my car en route to the facility and was exhausted by the time I got to the flat. On getting in I discovered the host had left me milk, croissants, butter, biscuits and bread which I was very grateful for.

The parking is tight.

Good location, spotlessly clean. Welcome pack was brilliant.

Only had a little problem with the shower.

The location was very good, not much traffic and close to the A68 and amenities in Jedburgh. Owner had stocked basic supplies (milk, bread, cereal, water). Very comfy bed and fully equipped kitchen. I highly recommend it.

It would have been helpful to have instructions on how to use shower, and wifi information was not in obvious place - I had to phone host to find it. Otherwise fabulous.

This is our second stay at Old Bridge End in 6 months, and we are certain to return. For us, the draw is the location - the cottage is in a quiet cul-de-sac, with pedestrian access to the town centre (5 minutes' walk) via a stone bridge across the Tweed. As well as historical sites of interest and many opportunities for riverside or hillside walks, Jedburgh has several nice shops and cafes. Don't be deceived by the small shop frontage on the Jedburgh Deli - it is massive inside, and very well-stocked, so a good place to visit early in your stay! Our particular recommendations are an Italian restaurant called Bella Sicily and the Heron & Willow independent bookshop. Old Bridge End cottage itself is small, but it's cosy, comfortable, very well-equipped and ideal for two. Some folk have pointed out there is no dining table, but it would probably be difficult to accommodate this in the lounge and we managed fine without. Rebecca left a very generous welcome pack (fresh croissants!!) and she was also extremely helpful when we inadvertently locked ourselves out!

We found the shower a bit temperamental, but we did always manage in the end.
