Spectacular Views, Convenient, Affordable - KK17129

Absolutely amazing place ! Loved the view, location, comfort on all levels !!

Just an exceptionally beautiful place on the ridge of the peninsula overlooking Kaikoura, the shore, and the seaward snow-capped Kaikoura mountain range. As we walked onto the lovely deck and into the accommodation, we immediately thought "Gee, we should have booked more than one night." The kitchen was very well-equipped. The living area had 2 very comfortable leather couches. The huge shower was nicely tiled and quite nice. It was a quick drive down to Kaikoura and adjacent sights. We took in the NZ fur seal colony at the tip of the peninsula and the whale-watching opportunity; it is one of the only places, maybe the only place, in the world where you can spot sperm whales close to shore.

Minor point -- no information was provided on local restaurants, activities, sight-seeing, etc. This is a minor point because....well, Google.

Marvelous view and perfectly maintained, lots of space and very well equipped kitchen. Very clean!

No wifi for the moment, which was not an issue for us. Also this was clearly communicated.

Very close to town, great stay for a couple, very cozy and comfortable. The view was absolutely amazing.

Fantastic shower. Very warm property. Cosy & comfortable lounge. Private terrace with incredible views of mountains & sea. Surrounded by native bush and birdsong. Spectacular sunrises from the terrace. Owners very accommodating - dropped off a backpack for us to borrow as we’d forgotten ours!

We enjoyed everything! Whilst we are not dependent on WiFi and/or technology, it would have been nice to have it, especially on a rainy day (our second day). We ended up using the library to access WiFi.
