Mandarinies Boutique Residence

Irini e Mikali sono due persone gentilissime e vivere in campagna è stato bello a parte i galli canterini. La casa è proprio una Boutique con un arredamento curato nei minimi dettagli. In frigo abbiamo trovato acqua, succo di frutta, formaggio e per la colazione fette biscottate e marmellata. Vathy è una buona base di partenza per escursioni, mare e visite.

Alcuni suggerimenti: in camera da letto è necessario mettere una tenda coprente come in salone perchè essendo la finestra esposta e est al mattino alle h. 6.30 (a settembre) il sole illumina e scalda. Se fosse possibile una zanzariera per questa porta finestra (come per le altre finestre) la notte si potrebbe godere il fresco senza accendere il condizionatore.

A beautiful house in a peaceful and quiet location surrounded by mountains and sounds of nature. Wonderful and lovely host.

We had a wonderful stay at Mandarinies in Kalymnos with my family. The owners met us at a very ungodly hour to greet us (early am when the ship arrived) and were very helpful throughout our 10-day long stay. The house was spacious, well equipped, tastefully decorated, very clean and really quiet. The fridge and kitchen were stocked with essentials for a good breakfast and a drink, which we really appreciated having arrived too late for any kind of shopping. The built-in bath in the room was great (there was also a shower in the bathroom). The house is located next to an orchard, so our child had ample space to play and explore safely, as well as play with the house dog, cats, chickens and baby chicks. The owners even let us checkout late, as we had a late evening trip back to Athens, which was a bonus. I thoroughly recommend it for both families and couples. Thank you Irene!
