"Loved it! Last minute discount was generous. Cottages 2-4 are slightly further back from road."

Cottage No'1 was located right opposite Thornham Deli, and a short walk from excellent pub, The Lifeboat, and a glorious walk over the Marshes to the beach. Off-road parking right next to property. Very warm and comfortable, compact accommodation, fantastic bed and shower, welcome pack of juice, bread, milk.

Property is right next to the A149 main road, and noise from the road is audible inside and occasionally intrusive, depending on size of vehicle going past. Reversing car out requires a person on the road to ensure all is clear and safe to pull out.

Cozy, warm, comfortable. Nice touches ( welcome bits, dish washer tablets etc). Lots hot water, lovely downstairs shower and comfortable beds.

Slightly dusty in places (eg water jugs upstairs/Skirting). Lovely comfy sofa, armchairs a bit tired looking /not quite so comfortable. Otherwise all great.

The location for us was very good, plenty of pubs/restaurants within easy walking.

Maybe update the cooking pots and pans, they don't go with the quality of the property.

"A great stay in a lovely place."

Stylishly furnished with everything you could need. Comfortable bed. One of the best welcome packs we have had with thoughtful touches for our dog as well. Thornham is a lovely place to stay and the proximity to the Deli was a huge plus.

It is difficult to tell from the photos on the website which cottage you have. We thought we had a small lawn area for our dog but actually had a yard with a quite overgrown raised bed. We couldn’t get the drench shower to work. The location within Thornham is fabulous but the very close proximity to the busy means this particular cottage is quite noisy.
