The Bridge Cottage – 10/10! We had a fantastic stay at The Bridge Cottage and would happily rate it 10/10 for location, comfort, and facilities. The double bed is on the firmer side, which suited us well and made for a great night’s sleep. The cottage was incredibly well thought out – everything we needed was provided, making it really easy to settle in. The welcome basket was such a kind touch, and the fresh towels and thoughtful extras made it feel like a true home-from-home. We especially appreciated the blackout blinds , a rare but very welcome feature in a holiday let! The coffee machine with free pods was a lovely addition, and the kids enjoyed the little courtyard – a safe and cosy space to play. The whole cottage worked perfectly for our family. Don’t let the lack of on-site parking put you off. We parked on Watling Street with three young children and a pram, and it was only a two-minute walk , no issue at all. Once there, we didn’t need the car. Everything was within walking distance, and public transport was easy and reliable. The location is great – you can visit the impressive Conwy Castle (a 20-minute short drive), or check out the smaller local one nearby if you prefer to stay closer. Both are great for exploring with kids. Also many beaches within 20 minutes on scenic roads. We had a delicious Naga curry from The Spice House, and the pub next door (The Eagle Hotel) was peaceful and served excellent food – not rowdy at all. The village bakery was also fantastic, and the pies from the local butcher were a real treat. Two lovely charity shops were also in the village. We loved the river walk, the local park, and the stone features – simple pleasures that kept the kids entertained for hours. A highlight was playing “guess which stone we’re behind” , loads of laughs and the kids favourite free outing. We even had the local pool to ourselves during public swim time!

The property was spotless 😀. Absolutely beautiful welcome pack tailored to us, cot and baby gate made up 😁

The road noise in the front bedroom and parking was a little inconvenient with a little one but just have to be organised!

Perfect location for our purpose. Clean welcoming and had everything. Like home from home.
