Cob Cottage

We loved everything about this beautiful place. The location was so relaxing and picturesque, such a difference to our busy city lives. Linda and Gwyn were two of the friendliest people we have ever met, nothing was too much for them, even offering to tumble dry my washing. Linda took her time to show us around the farm and explain how everything works! We were very interested. Loved the thumbs up from Gwyn each time he went past the kitchen window. We had a lovely welcome after a very long day (we went to Barry first) Linda met us at the front door and welcomed us in. A beautiful cake and the necessities were waiting for us. The cottage itself was beautiful, everything we needed and super comfortable! The biggest bath I’ve ever seen!! And luxurious beds. Waking up to a view like that each morning really has made me question my goals in life! This cottage is definitely going to become a part of our lives going forward, we have booked to go back already. Thank you once again Linda and Gwyn we will see you soon.

Coming home!

Linda and Gwynne are great hosts! I was ill just before our departure date and we weren't sure we were going to be able to make it but fortunately we did and we had a fantastic stay. The cottage is in a quiet location on a working farm with stunning views. Finished to a high standard and extremely comfortable, it was a real home from home. We had everything we needed. Highly recommended and thanks so much!

Honestly, there wasn't anything we didn't like. However, if there had been it would have been very easy to speak to the hosts about it as they checked in with us during our stay.

Beautiful cottage, very clean, very comfortable. Lovely kitchen, everything you need for self catering present. Host very helpful, responded quickly to all queries.

Min. 20 mins in the car to get to anything, but this is an ideal cottage for a quiet country getaway.

Beautiful spot! The views from the conservatory were our favourite! Absolutely lovely hosts who could not do enough to make your stay amazing. So peaceful & relaxing - 10/10!

The whole experience was great. Very cosy and secluded location. All facilities are included, very spacious inside and outside. No-one else in the neighborhood, just the landlord Linda. She is a great help, does go an extra mile for you. The cottage is well equipped to high standard. Very neat and tidy in a beautiful countryside setting. Would highly recommend it to family and friends. Thanks Linda. Will surely come back.

Absolutely everything.. The communication was excellent, Linda rang us before our stay ensuring we had basic provisions there on arrival, also making sure we knew it was very rural with no amenities close by, she then rang during our journey giving us the best route in (not following satnav). We had a very warm welcome, lovely tea and cake 🎂. The accommodation was beautiful, immaculate, it was home from home with everything thought of. The views were amazing and it was very peaceful, the perfect place for a rest, relax and reset. We cannot recommend this highly enough. Thank you Linda & Gwyn.
