Villa Hamorebi

The house was huge and had beautiful decor. Each area of the house had controlled heating and ac. Fully stocked free bar with nice treats. The hot was fantastic. Great, convenient quiet location.

A large villa in a quiet location only a few minutes away from the main shopping street. It is big enough for a family with good amenities. We were hosted by a lovely and witty lady who made us laugh. They provided plenty of tea, coffee, soft drinks, alcohol and snacks for free. Dunking in an outdoor onsen was a bonus at the end of the day.

The bathroom and bath towels had a bit of a damp smell.

A microwave or coking facilities would have been great

Great welcome of ladies in charge. The big breakfast which is included. The silence at night… and many other things.

The private villa is situated in a peaceful spot just outside the main tourist pull of Miyajima. The building has been very well renovated and brought up to modern standards all within traditional Japanese design and architecture. The interior of the home is well distributed, bright and fresh. The layout has been well considered and there is a large amount of space inside. The bathroom and external plunge pool were a life saver during the extremely hot (37 deg c) August when visiting. The plunge pool is located in a small, well lit, private enclosure with views of the large Acer trees above. The villa has a bar, a stocked fridge of drinks, ice and various teas and coffees.

The breakfast and dinner were very delicious and the host team was very kind.

Our experience was good, but it was way to expensive for what it was. We payed more than 500 eur per night and we were expecting a high quality hotel and service, but what we got was a "nice" bed and breakfast. There was no onsen, we had a pseudo-basin but the water was not hot, it was warm. It wasn't a bad experience, but given the price (and compared to the quality and price of what we had elsewhere in Japan) we felt a bit tricked.

It was a very spacious and splendidly furnished vacation home. There was nothing else I could have wished for. They even provided free drinks in the apartment. In fact it was much more than what I needed, but when I booked, there were not so many options left. Also, it did not exactly fall into the cheap category, but it also offers a very high quality stay on a very beautiful island.

The refrigerator was a little noisy at night, but perhaps I should have closed the door.

Lovely place to stay, very quiet and relaxing. The food was also amazing, and the staff were very friendly.
