PACIFIC PARADISE COTTAGE

The location was perfect! Great access to the rest of Tutukaka coastal bays. The accommodation was 5 star - so comfortable and fully equipped - with basil and other herbs in the garden a bonus!

Backing in and out of the driveway required some skill and practice but we did it 🙂

closeness to beach and only a very short drive to Tutukaka itself. Beautiful gardens below where owner lives. Nice to have owner close by, Anne was very helpful. Loved having a washing machine and drier.

The larger beds were upstairs in a studio type style configuration so we had to turn off fridge etc at night as they were noisy, but surroundings were lovely and quiet once we’d done that. Just a small thing…couldn’t find a colander to drain pasta. Downstairs bedroom smelt rather musty if you didn’t keep windows open. Had to bring in one of the outdoor chairs to use at dining room table so we could eat together. No drawers or place to hang clothes, and not much space in dining room to fit the suitcase. If the magazines and games were cleared out of the cupboard in the dining room that would help have a place to at least store clothes, and if the vacuum cleaner was moved into the outdoor washing machine shed, that would free up more space to perhaps be able to fit a suitcase.

We liked everything about our stay. The cottage was fantastic and well set up with everything that we needed for our stay. The host was lovely to talk to.

Everything was great, nothing at all we didn’t like. A fantastic place to stay.
