Musty damp smell more so at the entrance than anywhere else, lots of woodlice in house downstairs. No wooden spoon & no cereal bowls. No coat hooks. Bed in main room felt a little risky in the middle getting in at night with my 6 foot partner. Very minor things for families with young kids to note, windows can open fully and no restrictor available. Bath is downstairs, but worked well for us. Easy enough to park, but may not be outside house so short roadside walk. All TV's in rooms wall mounted, but living room as per pictures is reachable for toddlers/babies.

We had a family week away, the home was adequate for our needs reasonably clean if not a little tired on fixture and fittings but we had a lovely stay and the cost was reasonable

Location

There were insects throughout the property from the first day, including in the bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and even in the beds. They were also crawling onto the dining table and food, which made the stay very uncomfortable and unhygienic. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and hygiene standards did not meet expectations.

The location was great. The house was well laid out, and was really well provided with the things that we needed. The hot tub was great. The beds were all comfy. It was nice and clean.

It probably needs a slight refresh in some places (some carpets are getting slightly worn). The lounge TV remote was slightly temperamental (but the owners were really helpful when we had an issue with it).

The location very central to the island and a 5 minute walk from Church Ope Cove. The downstairs was nicely decorated and well-equipped. The bedroom at the rear of the property was very quiet.

The stairs, first floor accommodation and outside area were very tired, especially the en suite, which is shabby and not to the standard we’ve come to expect from staying in similar priced properties in the area. The info book contained errors and out of date information. The front bedroom was very noisy with lots of disturbances from road traffic throughout the night.

The hot tub was a bonus

Would have much preferred a king size bed.

The only small thing was the quilt/quilt covers didn’t seem to want to stay together, we all ended up with a ball of quilt at the bottom and just the cover to cover us up 😄
