The Cottage Hillside

The cottage is perfect, with everything one might need. It is tastefully decorated and cosy. The location is perfect, just up the lane from The Tavern an excellent gastro-pub and very close to Croak Patrick

The lock box would not open.... we called Jayne who was very helpful and gave us the directions to a second key. It should not be in the section 'What didn't you like' as the problem was quickly resolved.... but we were very glad it was not dark when we arrived.....

Cosy peaceful and clean cottage with all the comforts of home within walking distance to beaches, gastro tavern, traditional pub and Croagh Patrick. Short drive to the famous town of Westport and the Irish fjord town of Leenaun with breathtaking scenery. This is a gem of a place where you will unwind and want to return to. I had a wonderful time in Murrisk, home of the world famous Murrisk Oyster. The hosts provided all the info I needed to dive right in and enjoy my stay where I felt very welcome.

The cottage is charming, location convenient and picturesque. The owners are prompt if you need assistance.

Everything! The view from the garden and the garden itself were incredible. Particularly loved the fairy tree! As for the inside the decor was so cute, very cosy. Super close to Bertra beach and Westport town, ideal location!

Great location for exploring the area and stunning views of the mountain at the back door.

Not having clean drinking water made things a little tricky with a child . Also wasn't very clean when we arrived and sheets on the beds were still wet. Place just needs a deep clean.
