Southern Belle on Oglethorpe Square

The Southern Belle on Oglethorpe Square is perfectly named. It was as charming as a southern Belle! The location is perfect. We were within about 10 minutes walk from River Front and the Market area. The building is old and historic with lots of charm. The stairs were not a problem and we did not mind the walk up three flights. My knees usually fight back but the wide wooden stairs aren’t hard to navigate. The condo is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. I loved the decor. The kitchen was just the right size with the appliances we needed and had the cutest kitchen table for enjoying a morning cup of coffee. The living room was a comfy place to relax in before heading to bed. I slept like a baby in the king size bed with amazing bedding and the softest, fluffiest pillows. The shower had plenty of hot water. Parking is inexpensive and in a nearby parking garage which was very convenient. We felt safe and secure here. We loved our stay and would go back again and again. To top off our stay, the host was very communicative and great to work with as well.

Perfect location!!! Very comfy. Be ready for a climb to the 3rd floor.

It was so cute!! The location was perfect and was in my favorite part of the historic district. The bed and bedding was so comfortable and the little kitchen area was perfect for a lazy morning breakfast:)

I have no complaints! The toilet was a little slow at flushing but it’s an old building so that wasn’t really an issue at all :)
