We had been planning to visit El Hierro for a long time, and this was one of the highest rated villas on the island which met our requirements. It is certainly one of the best holiday rentals I have stayed at. The location in La Frontera is also excellent with access to a good range of facilities. There is a large and comfortable kitchen/living room. The kitchen is very well equipped and we had everything we needed there - a coffee machine, a hand blender, electric hob, microwave. Unlike many other rentals we have stayed at there were extra rubbish bags, additional rolls of toilet paper, washing up liquid and kitchen towels provided which was nice to have available. The view from the terrace is great, looking out across part of El Golfo.

It's very difficult to find any fault with this cottage. The only small downside we found was the entrance way to the road it is on, which we think is owned by another property. This is hard to spot as it is a rough track rather than a tarred road, and there is rubbish around the entrance way which makes for an offputting arrival. Its clear that this is outside of the owners control and as you pass through a gateway at the boundary of the property the quality of the track improves. We were sent precise details of how to find the cottage which gave us confidence in going down this track when we first arrived.

Very quiet location, but within walking distance to La Frontera. Great equipped. Very spacious. We had an amazing time there. I highly recommend this accommodation!!
