Fabulous - Great place to stay and will be definitely staying again. Great facilities and extras - choccy biccies, fresh milk in the fridge, range of coffees and making sure as we arrived at night all was ready e.g. lights on, all just showed real care for guests.

I advise against it, I do not recommend it. we booked the house, got confirmation from the owners that everything is fine. Upon arrival, it turned out that there was no free home for us. I don't understand how this is possible

We had a lovely time The Crossing. It was cosy, with plenty of amenities and had a spectacular view. Our host Thomas was helpful, friendly and gave us a guided tour and advice about local area. The view was magnificent as well!

There wasn't anything negative from our experience. For the price and location, as well as the way the place was advertised, I do not think we could have expected more.

It had plenty of space and the bed was comfortable. I could only get a trickle of hot water in the kitchen which made wading up a chore. The pictures were deceiving as the aren’t of where we stayed, so I can only rate where we actually stayed and not what I booked and is listed. Thomas was friendly on arrival.

I don’t like staying in a hosts house. This can be sometimes expected on a site like Airbnb. But I didn’t expect it on here. It was obvious by all the clothing, used towels hanging up in the bathroom and a used kitchen/ utensils, that we were just giving they owners own home. Bigger than what was booked, but it wasn’t what I wanted. An explanation from they host would have been appreciated as to why this was, but that never came. Communication was overall slow and abrupt. If you say on the listing that check in is from 12 then that should be accommodated (I said I’d be there between 12.30 and 1, which I then got asked to not come rather vaguely till after 1. I just arrived at 2 in the end not really knowing what to expect as I got no reply. If 12 doesn’t suit, just make the check in later.

Beautiful location

Location was peaceful , relaxing with amazing view & very friendly host. Pet friendly accomodation with no extra charge for it was very appreciatif. Late arrival was kindly accomodated.

The mattress of the sofa bed was too soft 4 my back. Challenging 2 find due to no road signal 2 indicate the lodge so got lost & had to have host 2 collect us from the village

Owner super nice.. Very cute exterior. And if you like a journey to find the remote cottage, then this is for you. The owner has coffee, teas. Crakers and cookies for you. A OK single night stay.

No sign at road side.. The exterior and surroundings are truly lovely.the interior is a bit rugged. The bed is a sofa pullout. The bathroom and shower are all one meaning you can shower while using the sink or toilet.
