Estate Stay - Riverside Coffee

The overall ambience of the property was good and the ponds looked good with the lotuses blooming.

- Absolutely lame hospitality. Owners didn’t even bother to greet - You’ve got to order for dinner at 2:30 PM and lunch at 10:30 AM - No WiFi & TV in the rooms - Pathways are dark & unkempt. Not enough lighting near the rooms at all. - Room service is non existent and they don’t even provide drinking water unless you ask for it. That too you’ve got to fill it yourself in aquaguard. Their water bottles are beer/alcohol bottles repurposed for this use. - No change in linen or bed sheets everyday. And it is written that they charge extra if it were to be asked to be changed. And their linens are smelly. How can you expect the guests to use the same towels for 3 days? - Zero pest control. There were lizards dropping their dump all across the room & the washroom. And since it’s an estate, at least they could’ve managed to get this part sorted. - Coffee estate with no pedestrian trails and no interest in arranging for tours within the estate. You intend to stay in a coffee estate to experience their coffee and the 1st day they served us tea. And the rooms also have tea bags. None of them even showed slightest of interests to take us through to the coffee estate. - No feedback asked and their guest relationship manager is rolls her eyes up if we take time to order dinner without even having lunch served first. The days we stayed back (which was a Sunday & Monday), they have called the maintenance guy to chop the grass and the sound that guy made while using the machine he used gave us a headache. I so wish there is an option to share that audio clip here but I couldn’t. When I share this with the manager, she replies SORRY SIR and the guy stops after half an hour. We checked out immediately after this. For the price that these guys are asking, this is absolutely not worth it at all. With this callous attitude shown towards us, I don’t intend to come back here.

Experience was truly exceptional. Nestled amidst coffee plantation, the property offers a great comfort, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The accommodation was clean, thoughtfully designed, and well-maintained, with every amenity provided for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sound of birds/insects and the view of Lilly pond & lush greenery was a refreshing experience. Akshay was welcoming, responsive, and ensured that every aspect of our stay was smooth and enjoyable. The serene ambiance, coupled with the thoughtful hospitality, made this a truly memorable getaway. I would highly recommend the riverside coffee to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat.

Hot water was not available in the morning. I felt for this location where most of the months are cold, they should install a geyser. But I personally felt bathing in cold water also rejuvenate our mind. Again it depends on the individuals preference

We had a great stay at your place. Its a beautiful resort set amidst the coffee plantation. The rooms are high standard and the food is delicious! Our dogs also felt so welcome. Highly recommended

Basic food facilities were not up to the mark. Plus it missed other basic facilities and the room wasn't maintained properly. On the positive side the overall property was nice and the coffee was good.
