Suite23_Ortigia

The property was very quaint, in a typical street in Ortigia, very close to the market. It was beautifully decorated with a great coffee machine and facilities. Andrea and his wife left us a great bottle of wine and a gift which was a lovely touch. There was also a great roof terrace. The beds were comfortable and the property was clean and well appointed.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The location was perfect. A nice walk from the restaurants and historical sites so we could stroll around before and after dinner. The old market was very close, and we went there every morning to see the vendors with fresh fish and produce. A nice little cafe for amazing coffee was nearby for people watching as the day began. The decor was beautiful and very elegant with shades of white and amazing detail with chandeliers and more. The best part was the roof top terrace. A great place to watch the sunset and drink some wine. The most amazing thing was that our host Andrea was so helpful and responsive to our WhatsAp. He made dinner reservations for us every night at the most amazing places and all of them were different.

We needed a washer, but I knew there wasn't one before arriving, so we just adjusted our laundry day (traveled 2 weeks). Many stairs but I didn't mind, just be prepared to go up and down often. The 2nd bathroom is really just a very small sink/toilet but that was fine because it was ensuite to the master bedroom, and this made it perfect for me to get ready while I let the 3 men in our group use the full bathroom on the main floor. The loft bedroom was open and next to the master, and too small to sleep 2 college boys, so the couch on the main floor opened up and was perfect for my son. Ideal for families or 2 very close couples! There really wasn't any breakfast just some cookies but we were very happy to get out in the morning to get some fresh pastry and fruit. The coffee at the home was great and they provided water and other welcome gifts. We went on a boat cruise so it would have been nice if they had some beach towels since the boat did not provide. The house towels were luxurious, and we felt bad about taking them with us to the boat.

Spotlessly clean, wonderful comfortable mattress and pillows . Super roof terrace to relax on after a busy day sightseeing. Lots of extra little touches added by the host. Bottle of wine chilling in the fridge when we arrived and breakfast items. Lots of information sent to me including a clip of how to find the house from the carpark. I would highly recommend staying here !!! It’s beautiful & peaceful.

Everything was perfect! Location was very central but not noisy at all .the apartment very clean and cozy.plus the terrace! Andrea was very helpful! We will be back for sure!

The property is very beautiful, clean, kitchen is well stocked. The roof deck is amazing. Location is excellent. The parking garage is very close: very important for those traveling by car, since most of the Ortigia is pedestrian streets only and not accessible by car. The hosts are a very nice couple and very accommodating. We have no complaints and would definitely come back. Thank you very much.

The location was near the tourist hub and Atntico Market.. The host was very accomadating and helpful with all our inquiries.

The house is luxurious, clean, cozy, and spacious with a sunny terrace. Amiable and helpful hosts. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and pillows. Ideal location close to everything - easy walk to all the sights, only 18 minutes from Railway station by foot. The house deserves 11 stars from available 10.
