Chumbi Bush House really surprised us with how spacious it is. The high ceilings and generous open spaces made it feel airy, comfortable, and special — exactly the kind of place I love. It is a wonderful spot for a getaway with friends, whether for a relaxing weekend or an even longer stay to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

"A luxury get away in the bush - peace, tranquility and wonderful animal and bird sighteeing on the doorstep."

Location of the lodge and its seclusion. The verandah was a great area for socialising. The animals coming to drink was special.

"The prefer bush getaway experience"

A great getaway from it all. Comfortable home nestled in the middle of the bush. The game comes to you - giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, duiker and more - all seen daily from the comfort of an armchair on the verandah.

"Groot huis op.een geweldige plek!"

Wat een groot huis! Eigenlijk veel te groot voor 1 gezin. Dit is perfect als je met bijv 2 gezinnen en kinderen bent. Een lekker zwembadje om in te plonsen. De housekeepers zijn er van 9.00-12.00 en daarna rondom de woning voor het wassen etc. Verder liggen er op dit ‘park’ meerdere woningen (19). Het voelt alsof je in de middle of nowhere zit. Het voelt veilig aan. In de avond zagen wij 2 giraffen in onze achtertuin voorbij lopen! Ook zagen we zebra’s, wildzwijnen en impala’s.

House was amazing, giraffs, zebra,buck walked right in front of us while we sat in the pool

has quite a few ants, but its an ecosystem so respected them

Lovely place and far exceeded our expectations, especially in terms of size. Had some wonderful sightings from the comfort of our patio, including some nagaapies!

It was uncomfortable without the aircon working and really upset our foreign guests, who struggled to sleep as the ceiling fan was very noisy when turned up high.

"Logement incroyable"

Notre séjour à chumbi a été incroyable. La maison est fantastique. Elle est très bien équipée, spacieuse et confortable. C'était encore plus époustouflant en vrai. Et l'environnement au sein de Kuleni game park est à couper le souffle. Vivre entouré d'animaux sauvages est une expérience magique.
