Very beautiful place, near the sea, quiet, helpfull and nice owners, who lived next to the cottage

Cold Floor. There is good heating bye the way

Location. Most of the facilities .

We thought some form of a dryer would have helped, as it rained all week. The shower was luke warm,though hot water for sink and bath was very warm. Cooker oven may need changing, took some time to cook whatever we put in it. Information pack was quite basic, for example it took us a couple of days to find somewhere to buy more logs/kindling for wood burner, having some available to buy at the property would be a great help(which is the case at other properties we have stayed at) . A ten minute walk through of everything at the start of the stay may be a good help to those staying there. None of this spoilt our stay ( the rain managed that 😄), just the little things we noticed throughout the week we stayed.

The location and the owners

Lovely well renovated cottage in a simply breath taking location, right by a castle ruins, the seaside and plenty of animals (deer, stags, sheep, herons, geese), with everything one may need. The hosts, Sheila and Keith are very welcoming. Would definitely love to return if on Skye again!

the drive to the cottage isn't the easiest, especially the single track between it and Armadale.

Sheila and Keith are amazing hosts and the location of the cottage is just breath taking!! We loved to take small walks on the beaches around the cottage, especially our kids loved to climb on the rocks. Sheila and Keith were so nice to us, had nets, shovels and buckets for our kids prepared for "beach explorations". Also, Keith caught crabs just to show them to our kids. There is everything you need in the cottage:)

Nothing - everything was amazing.

A cosy little cottage in a beautiful & peaceful location. The owners were welcoming & provided biscuits & fudge on our arrival 😄. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring Skye with its stunning scenery.

The kitchen was very narrow & quite difficult for 4 people to manage, & the windows were very high up which made them difficult to close & keep the midges out!
