Our stay in this beautiful English cottage was everything I could have hoped for – and more! I adored the intricate detail of the décor throughout the house, the relaxing hot tub, and seeing the peaceful bell tower each day as we made our way back ‘home’ from the day’s adventures. Thank you for helping us create life-long memories with our family here. They are one we will always remember fondly.”

Thank you for a lovely stay! The cottage is spotless and had everything we needed to stay. We take full advantage of the hot tub which was brilliant! We all had a very relaxing time and it's not far at all into the town or the seafront.

Hot tub a little disappointing

Such a picturesque cottage with a beautiful garden - a really wonderful space for a weekend in Somerset. Lots of space, lots of character, lots of thoughtful touches. (Remember its a cottage so low ceilings for anyone tall!) Short walk into minehead and very peaceful retreat for a weekend away!

It's a question of personal preference, but I found the hosts, although very helpful and clearly (and rightly) very proud of the cottage, a bit too much - their helpfulness and amount of instructions just felt a bit overbearing and made it harder to relax given was a quick weekend away - they insisted on a pre arrival phonecall (disrupting my work to fit their availability) which lasted 15 minutes but was nothing more to tell me how to use a hottub, park and how to enter the property - when all can be covered by written information! I then had a further half an hour lecture on using the hottub on arrival which just repeated the phonecall. Then, morning of check out, several texts reminding me when to checkout... It was a fab house but I don't think I'd stay again for this reason. If that doesn't sound like it would be an issue for you, then definitely book this place - it's beautiful, and you'll definitely think its a 10 out of 10!
