Mrs. Maroulla's HOUSE

Quirky small standalone house with all you will need for a comfortable stay. Not sparklingly modern and new, but with cute character. You need to put your futon mattresses out to sleep. And the shower is snug, but the home is clean, spacious (for Japan) and equipped with all you need in the kitchen. The hostess is gorgeous— so happy and helpful and friendly (and with beautiful English!). Well located close to the port, bike hire and the Seven Eleven store.

Although spotlessly clean this property is quite basic. There is bread and fruit in the room - but you cannot regard this as a breakfast - I assume that by leaving a loaf of bread and some jam - helps the owners from a taxation perspective

It’s a cute and cozy spot for a family. The two hosting ladies we met were so kind and friendly.

Excellent and friendly host who speaks fluent English and was very straight forward; 5 minute walk to the ferry and bicycle hire and restaurants; the host texted to "not expect much for breakfast" but she left some fruit and a loaf of bread with jams and spreads which was fine, there is a small fridge and a little shower, futons for the floors, can wash your clothes and hang them on the line out back.

Mrs. Maroulla's house was the only place we could find on the Art Island, if we were still 20 year olds we would have *loved* it as it is a home away from home and reasonably priced; as older folk willing to pay more we found it a bit too basic and scruffy.

Location was great. Cute little stay.

No bedroom as said in the advertising. Nor a bed. It was a studio apartment and you had to make the bed with cushions at night. After you make some room. It is better if you write this in the description so you know before arrival. No breakfast included. There was bananas and bread left for you so I would not say breakfast included.

Super cute location, we wished we stayed for 2 nights as we spend little time there. Right on the center, few minutes walk from the ferry, able to store luggage
