Wavesong - Stay Waiheke

In a fantastic elevated location, that overlooks beautiful Onetangi Bay, and a great almost central base, within short driving distances (we hired a car) to most of the island’s attractions and facilities, Robyn and Leighton are the consummate hosts; friendly, and very helpful, making our stay a most comfortable one. Well-appointed, very clean, and private, but not isolated, the apartment was the perfect spot for our 3-day stay on Waiheke.

Nothing! (Although the drive is on a steep incline it’s only a very short distance to the parking space - with care taken, we didn’t find it too difficult to navigate.)

Hard to park a car because of inclines. But that is simply a fact of the island terrain anywhere but right next to the beach. Missed an oven.

Absolutely loved our stay! Beautiful impeccably clean modern apartment with lovely furnishings and stunning views. Loved listening to the waves at night. The lovely owner went above and beyond to make our stay fabulous and dropped us to a couple of restaurant bookings which we were very grateful for. Great location easy walk to the beach and cafes and bus stop at end of street. It was a little more than we’d usually pay but you get what you pay for and it was awesome

Amazing location with the most amazing view looking over Onetangi beach. The decor inside was beautiful we absolutely loved staying here. Our hosts were so lovely & welcoming even dropping us to the bus stop! Would absolutely come back to stay.

If you arrive without a car, walk to property with suitcases is a bit of a challenge.

The view from your bed and livingroom is what you want. Short up and down the hill to the beautiful beach with clear water and bus stop. It is called wave song for a reason , the calming sound of the waves makes the place a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful island. The hosts are lovely and helpful.
