"Beautiful, quiet location, great for family stay."

Spectacular location and views! Big rooms and lots of space. Great kitchen nicely equipped.

Mattresses on the beds were not very comfortable, sagging in middle.

Great location, view around property amazing, spacious bedrooms, lot of space in the kitchen and living room area to socialise, very clean house and everything what you need is there. Two spaces for car park, lot of places to visit and explore nearby.

"Clean and comfortable with incredible views"

Fantastic location with incredible views over the valley. Clean and comfortable with a nice big open plan area for socialising over food. Great communications and a lovely base for hiking. Would highly recommend.

There were 8 of us so one bath used up all the hot water for a few hours! Maybe a couple of prints on the walls in the bedrooms to make them a bit more homely but these are minor quibbles. The place was lovely on the whole.

"First Class!"

The house was absolutely beautiful and has everything you could want. There were 6 of us and there was plenty of room inside & out.

Watch out for errant flying golf balls from bad golfers!😆 Take fans in the summer like we did as the top floor especially can be very hot.

"Perfect"

Valley view cottage was absolutely perfect for our family long weekend getaway. It felt like a home away from home. The property was immaculate with very comfy beds and very well equipped with everything we needed and could have needed for our stay. It is also set in a beautiful location, with double aspect views over a stunning valley and the nearest village of Rothbury. It beat all our expectations and we all said we would love to come back again.

"An exceptional property perfectly located to enjoy the many delights of beautiful Northumberland."

Modern stone cottage built to an exceptionally high standard by the owner. Very well equipped with comfortable contemporary furniture and everything a party of 8 could need. Panoramic views over the adjacent golf course towards the quaint town of Rothbury. The owners were very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be back.

"Brilliant location, stunning views, quiet and ideal for Brinkburn Priory!"

The location was superb and I hadn’t appreciated that it backed onto the Golf course! Brilliant views, quiet and relaxing. The layout was brilliant for our family of four couples that stayed for a wedding at Brinkburn Priory.

A couple of silly small details. Not enough forks, no soap provided in the bath rooms and just two half rolls of toilet paper… so petty and silly, but we then had to take the car out to find some in the local village.
