Das unkomplizierte frühere Auschecken wegen vorzeitiger Abreise

Der Check in sind um 22 Uhr angekommen. Wurden von einer älteren nur portugiesisch sprechenden Frau in Windeseile durchs Haus geführt .Konnten auf Grund der Sprachbarrie somit auch nichts fragen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ect. Somit sind wir nächsten Morgen erstmal ne halbe Stunde rumgefahren um was zu essen zu bekommen:-( war kein guter Auftakt

Nous avons apprécié le charme "vintage" de ce gite installé dans une ancienne maison des Açores. Cela a apporté une touche romantique et poétique à notre séjour sur Sao Miguel. La maison est vaste, composée de plusieurs pièces; elle permet de réaliser sa cuisine et de dîner à l'extérieur dans un environnement calme et ombragé. Nous avons été accueillis par le propriétaire à notre arrivée; le ménage était réalisé de manière très approfondie par une employée fort efficace. La taille du gite a permis à nos adolescents de préserver une certaine indépendance. Le gite est équipé d'une machine à laver, bien utile. C'est un logement agréable, confortable et adapté pour un séjour d'une certaine durée.

La douche ne procure pas toujours de l'eau chaude. Le site, situé à Nordeste, est un peu éloigné des sites touristiques situés à l'ouest de l'ile. Le passage des voitures sur la route, de nuit, est parfois un peu bruyant.

La casa es muy bonita y su ubicación, a pesar de la lejanía a algunos lugares de obligada visita en la isla, está muy bien (entorno muy bonito, tranquilidd)

Varias cosas que deben mejorar para que se pueda repetir o recomendar la estancia en esta casa: Los colchones, especialmente el del dormitoirio principal, han sido un horror. Es incocebible que por el precio que hemos pagado te ofrezcan unos colchones que, lejos de proporcionar un adecuado descanso, son una tortura. Dotar a la vivienda de unos colchones adecuados no creo que suponga un esfuerzo excesivo y mejoraría considerablemente la valoración de los cliente. El pomo de la puerta del baño estaba roto y se caía constantemente. En la cocina faltaban algunos utensilios basicos como una cafetera express (cafetera italaiana) un cuchillos panero (adecuado para cortar el pan). El poyete de la cocina es muy bajo y resulta muy incómodo. Con estos comentarios negativos no pretendemos despretigiar el alojamiento, todo lo contrario, lo hacemos en sentido constructivo. Si mejoran esos aspectos: cambio de colchones por unos confortables y adecuados, dotar de algunos elementos máss a la cocina, mejorar y adecuar las instalaciones, Casa D` Alfaia se convertiíria en un lugar de 10 para alojarse en Sao Miguel.

L'étroitesse du lit. L'odeur de chien mouillé dans le salon que nous donc pas utilisé. Le mobilier très rustique.

The owners are beautiful people, very helpful and kind. The house itself was built in traditional style, and the renovation was also in traditional style. Nice and peaceful countryside.

Because it is one of the traditional houses in the island with smaller windows, for our taste was too dark (we were working from home, so spent quite lot of time inside). There was no constant hot water in the shower, the water heater boiler was smaller and older, so sometimes it needed a restart several times per day - but this is a quickly fixable thing by changing it for a newer one. And in the end my personal advice: the location of the town Nordeste is not the best for tourist, it is quite far away from everything and takes almost one hour to travel by car to the main tourist attraction.

Beautiful countryside area.

Loved that it felt like we were staying in someone’s home from the village- authentic, quaint ,simple and comfortable. Perfect sunset view!! Loved the Neighbour’s calves in the field across the street. Was great to have a kitchen and laundry. We enjoyed the backyard with the lounge chairs and used the laundry line. We could easily drive to everywhere we wanted to go and we had some lovely walks. The grocery store was not far either and there was a nice restaurant in the village.

The beds could be have their mattresses replaced- they weren’t too comfortable & better pillows too.

Nice host and a breakfast in the fridge which was very welcoming. The equipment is good for cooking etc. Barbecue place in the garden.

The beds are very narrow and our son had to sleep on the sofa. The house and interior are quite old and the pictures look nicer than reality. The village is ok but quite remote.
