The location is amazing, unbeatable in fact with views to die for and someone has gone to a great deal of trouble to make the interiors tasteful and beautifully presented.

I would have definitely given it a 10 but for some significant elements. Firstly, it needed a deep clean. The cleaning was okay but not perfect, for example the skirting boards and window sills were dusty and there were marks on the kitchen cupboards that hadn't been wiped off and my husband found an ancient chocolate bar on top of a low wardrobe in our room that had been there for months if not years. The garden furniture and all of the windows were covered in seagull poo, a difficult issue, given the location, but some attempt to clean them would be good. Secondly, there were numerous maintenance issues that could very easily fixed. Some examples are one of the bathroom fans was permanently on, a toilet roll holder that fell off every time you touched it, jets in one of the showers squirted cold water at you, pretty much all of the kitchen cupboard doors didn't close well and need rehanging, the same with the patio doors leading onto the terrace. The ethernet cable to the basement TV seemed to have been severed so the basement TV didn't work. There were more but those are the ones that spting to mind. And finally, we just about fitted 12 around the dining table, it was a very tight squeeze with elbows in whilst eating and we had a pretty slim group of people, any group of plus sized folks wouldn't stand a chance. And when we catered for 12 there wasn't really enough equipment in the kitchen. If these cleaning, maintenance and equipment issues were solved it would definitely be a perfect scoring holiday rental.

The house was very spacious,tastefully decorated ,clean and warm and perfect for us as a group of friends to celebrate a special birthday.A welcome pack of wine, welsh cakes and milk were left for us which was much appreciated. The location was perfect with glorious views over the Menai Straits. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic property in a great location with easy access to great bars and dining. Windows on the front of the house don’t open so was a little hot!!

Nothing to not like.

The house was well equipped to stay there. The bedrooms were large and spacious. The views were stunning especially the sunrise in the morning. The kitchen was well equipped. The oven had way too many dials but they were explained well in the visitor guide. Parking was fine as it was off peak season so we could park for free in the town centre. Great location for the shops and castle. Keysafe access so all guests can come and go anytime. The basement cinema room was comfortable however the WiFi could be a little hit and miss. Had a free welcome pack of wine and Welsh cakes which was a lovely treat. The house was spacious and clean on arrival. Beds were very comfortable and 2 pillows per person.

Power cut happened 3 times, had to ring the emergency line and get the code for the fuse box as the lights were tripping. The bathroom fan on the 1st floor is very loud and there's no way to turn it off. Could be heard through the walls. The 1st floor bathroom is described as en suite but it isn't, the other bedroom on the floor has to share with it. More seating and mirror options would be nice in each bedroom. The kettle was really dirty inside so the coffee drinkers used the hot tap instead. The 1st floor shower flooded on first use so we put drain cleaner down it and that solved the problem. The sash windows were leaking due to the rain and we had puddles in the bathrooms from it.

The house was lovely and in an excellent location

We had problems with the electrics tripping but this was resolved fairly quickly
