The Shippon, Parc yr Odyn, Pentraeth, Anglesey LL75 8UL

It’s got character - part of a converted barn so it’s spacious, has a high ceiling, wooden beams, log fireplace, and some in keeping period furniture pieces - but has all ‘mod cons’ as well, including underfloor heating and strong wi-fi. Very quiet, in a secluded spot on a farm, with lovely views, and well located to get quickly to any part of Anglesey and just a mile from a well stocked Spar in Pentraeth.

We liked everything about the property, other than having to negotiate a few pot holes driving up the cinder/flint track to get to it, but it is on a farm so not unexpected and far outweighed by the excellence of the property.

We would both like to thank you for your hospitality. The place was spotlessly clean and the views and setting were simple but beautiful - Personally I think it was of the nicest places I have ever stayed. We arrived a little later than what we first expected to but the host was so welcoming. We drove down and entered the cottage where we were met with fresh milk and cakes. Honestly thank you so much for letting us stay it was the best weekend and most relaxing weekends we have had in a long time and was very much needed If I could give it 11/10 stars I would. Simply perfection 🙂

Very cosy and quite. Lovely big comfy bed.

The host is very nice! It is a great and new experience for me to live in a farm with hundreds lambs. The furnitures are very classic.

Such a lovely property - immaculate, super comfy and beautifully restored. It was well equipped, very spacious and had everything we wanted. Plenty of car parking space outside and regular visits from a very curious chicken!! The host was very helpful - couldn't ask for more. The location was great for exploring Anglesey - all the main east coast attractions were very close by. The local village had a great Chinese takeaway and the shop on the petrol station was also excellent - they even had 'Cook' food there for when you want a nice meal but don't want to make it yourself. Highly recommended.

Just one confusing thing - our Sat Nav took us to the neighbour opposite the entrance (he was very nice!) - it wasn't clear we were meant to go up the unmade track to find the property.
