Location and superb sleeping accommodation. Close to all necessary facilities.

Couldn’t get TV to work and not instructions.

House is located along busy main road, without parking space. Paid parking in lower village 15 mins walk (will be very difficult in summer!) Outside area is very messy and could use a cleaning and refurbishment, with a dangerously slippery path for the descent to the village, without handholds or fences. Never gets sun due to its location against a hill (not suitable for children or the elderly) Decor inside is ok-ish, kitchen and pantry are old and smelly. Curtains in bedroom don't stop light, broad daylight around 4 o'clock in the morning 😞 moreover, the bedrooms are unfortunately located at the height of the busy road. We had no heating for 3 days (14 degrees in the house, brrrrrr) no hot water (no hot bath for our children 😞) Owner was just as cold as the house, well it could happen "it's an old house". There are electric heaters, there were 3, but they could not be used at the same time, then the fuses blow ...... Both the agency and the owner took no responsibility, yes a plumber eventually came but he couldn't solve it quickly. He found the emergency solution that the owner proposed, with the gas bottle at the top of a cupboard in a bedroom to be downright dangerous! Well needless to say that we did not have a pleasant stay, the area is beautiful and we have of course made it true, eating out a lot to escape the cold house. Compensation because we didn't get what we paid for? = ZERO Just the lame excuse it is an old house after all. (maybe they should charge 'old house prices' then!!!)

Location, cleanliness, free standing bath, full kitchen.

Late check-in at 4pm, very early check-out at 9am!!! Seems a bit of a rip off if you don't book more than one night. Door handles are stiff and difficult to open for those with mobility issues.
