The Accommodation is clean & cozy with all facilities we want. Appreciate the perfect instruction, covering all items we dealt with.

Beautiful, cozy cabin in a quiet, secluded area. Had all we needed for our 1 night stay. Loved the view of the glacier and the hot tub was a huge perk.

The location was quite remote, with pleasant views and it was quiet. The property was well-equipped and had a hot tub with a lovely view. The living area was nice, and the beds were comfortable.

At this property all guests were bitten by insects. We do not know if they were bed bugs or biting midges. They could have been midges, because the windows had no flyscreens so when they were opened, insects flew in. The rooms did not have black out blinds, and it was light 24 hours. (The owners said to a different customer that the windows had blinds, and also curtains, which is true, but the blinds and the curtains were quite translucent and did not block the light). Access is through a gate, which requires a phone call. That can be difficult for those of us not from Europe -- it was lucky we had one person with a phone that could make calls. I did not know about this when I booked, it was not clear on the property information.

Place has lovely views and a fabulous hot tub. Beds were comfortable. Easy to find

No blackout blinds and kitchen lacking some basic cooking things (pans).

Hard to find at night better to place a small sign, but maybe its only us :) second time would find straight away but in dark it was hard to see the house in heiturpot when wind is facing you its cold to come back to the house.

This was our first night outside of Reykjavik. So for urban dwellers this fits the in the middle of nowhere description. It’s wonderful hideout with snow covered mountains in the distance. Well equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ.
