Very peaceful. very comfortable bed. Shop and a pub within walking distance. Great for visiting the coast .

would have been great if the local pub opened earlier and served food

The location was perfect for what we wanted, our aim was to explore as much of the coast as possible and tie it in with a few days In Edinburgh. Upon arrival the owners had left us some home made fudge which the kids absolutely loved. The cottage was clean, fully equipped with everything that we would need and larger than it looked on the online images. Not only was it a perfect setting for a family with 2 children like ourselves, I would also highly recommend it for a couple who just want a relaxing quiet trip away.

We loved everything absolutely nothing to dislike.

Beautiful, quiet, rural location. Gorgeous views over surrounding countryside. Beautiful old trees and a lovely garden. Very well renovated farm house with thick walls. It was so charming. Spacious bedrooms and bathroom. It felt “away from it all”, but a handy drive into Berwick Upon Tweed and to the coast. I loved the quality of the bed linens and towels, and the hand soap. Very helpful and responsive communications from the owner with extensive info about options for activities in the local area.

Very good cottage. Clean comfortable with good facilities.

Not much within walking distance & unfortunately local pub not serving food so always had to drive if wanting to eat out
