Chalet for two - Dartmouth

Clean, well equipped, great location for exploring the area

Wonderful chalet, well equipped and beautifully decorated.

It was very clean self catering with everything provided. I suited us very well.

The path too and from the car was narrow and difficult to manoeuvre luggage. Parking place was not clearly defined.

The property was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Access to the property is easy via a small footpath from the nearby on-site car-parking (about 150 metres). The site is served by a regular bus service (Stagecoach 92) between Dartmouth and Totnes (every two hours except on Sundays when the service is severely limited) but the service ends rather early in the evening. Access by car is very easy and there is plenty of free on-site parking.

There's nothing to dislike about the property itself from a self-catering point of view (other than some may feel the need for a dishwasher that can't really be accommodated as there's simply no space for one). It's a shame that the site has no easy walking access to the nearest supermarkets (Sainsbury and Lidl) - the main road is just too dangerous for walkers (but car access is good and very easy).
