The Stable

On arrival at the cottage it was clear to see how much this property was loved and the the smallest details had been carefully thought through. The Welcome Pack provided was perfect for us and we enjoyed the contents/breakfast items. We also met with Wendy and Adele, who were so friendly and welcoming. This property is delightful and I would highly recommend it.

There was absolutely nothing about this property that we didn't like. It was perfect and the hosts had thought of everything to make our stay a memorable one.

The Stable is very well appointed with a complete kitchen, dishwasher, clothes washer, and access to a tumble dryer.

Only one drawback. The bed is "full size" and the room could accommodate a proper queen size if not a king.

Great location, beautiful, quirky, quaint accommodation. The cottage garden is pretty, it's quiet and relaxing. The accommodation is just behind the owners cottage.

Needs a good spring clean, looking a bit tired, black mildew in shower door seals and round shower door handle and inside the shower around the bottom. Shower thermostat not working, even when we managed to turn the knob, which was really tight it made no difference, the water was scalding hot and this made it very uncomfortable . Had to run the cold water for some time to flush out the water, as it's filtered and tasted strange as it had not been used for a few weeks.

The property was as described and had everything that I needed for a short stay. The 'welcome pack' of bread, cake, jam etc was very good. Parking was good - the property is located in a safe, quiet area.

Everything was excellent.

Very quiet house. Very clean and comfortable. Well situated for visiting the new Forest, Winchester, Salisbury and the isle of Wight

Great location, food left for us was excellent. Everything you could need for breakfast & lunch.

Bed comfortable, but on the small side & duvet only just covered you. But we sleep in a super king size bed. I suffer with my back so think this is why we found it very small.

Plenty of fresh bathroom and bed linen, including extra pillows. Good selection of provisions in the cupboard, e.g. full fruit bowl, condiments, shower gel/shampoo. Nice comfy sofa and bed. Decent TV with Roku. Nice quiet location. We left an item of clothing behind the owner contacted us and forwarded it to our home address free of charge.

The shower head could be positioned more central. A few more cupboards and shelving in the kitchen would have been of benefit. But overall no complaints, a wonderfull stay.
