Adorable 2 bedroom seaside vacation home

The location is quiet and the view wonderful. We felt so comfortable and at home! Will definitely tell others about it!

The accommodation was very nice with a fantastic view. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Nicely furnished. Nice space. Nice amenities. Nice to have a smart TV. Good security with house alarm.

From the photo the view looked as if it was closer to the sea. Steep staircase to enter and exit the house was tricky to navigate in the rain. Cupboards were messy with hosts personal stuff in them. A bit overpriced. Would have been nice to have more lights available when it was load shedding. Showerhead did not give an even spray.

The best part was the balcony - watching the sunsets, also watching birds. We enjoyed having someone meet us (Cobus was great!) to show us were things were and how it all worked.

The gas braai did not work properly and we had to fry our meat. Also there were no television stations available. We managed to stream from our own setup, but that was tricky to set up. Booking.com must have charged our credit card in a foreign currency because there was an International transaction charge, and now I cannot get hold of them to complain. Their local (South African) phone number does not work, and if you write them a message you just get an automated reply which it quite useless. It is extremely frustrating, and I will think twice before ever using Booking.com again.

Had all the facilities needed for a comfortable break away stay. Wi Fi, Cable TV, Gas Braai, indoor fire place ,gas heater, all perfect during the cold winters nights. All other facilities in kitchen and each room were in good order. Not extravagant, but very homely. In good weather the balcony was a great spot for a glass of wine at sunset.

A load of firewood at the fireplace , would have been nice.
