Millwood Cottage

Our Millwood Cottage stay was absolutely marvellous. Stayed there with my partner for a couple days as we felt the need to get as far away from the busy life and cities as possible — and we got what we wanted! We arrived late in the evening as we had to head to our little vacation after work, and we were still warmly greeted by Brigitte, who was extremely polite and welcoming c: All the rooms and the area around the house were very clean and tidy. The location is very picturesque, with a field full of sheep right outside the bedroom. We weren’t even disappointed because of the rainy weather, which often happens in these parts of the world, as we still got to spend very cozy and comfortable evenings at home in front of a fireplace We were provided the grill upon our request, and the owners even shared some of their charcoal, which was very kind of them. Fresh farm eggs were a lovely touch, too c: The whole atmosphere reminded me of my childhood that I’ve spent at my granny’s dacha, and I just felt like I was back home for the first time in a long while. It’s all in the little tiny details for me, and that’s something you can definitely expect from this cottage. I wish the owners good health and hope to visit this place again some time soon, maybe when all those gorgeous trees and flowers are in full bloom.

The location was outstanding! The cottage was spotless. I loved the original features, the log fire and the surrounding blooming gardens, orchard and stone features. It was so unbelievably tranquil, no traffic noise and surrounded by mature trees. The only sound we could hear all weekend was birdsong. Thankyou so much Brigitte x

There was nothing I didn't like. It was perfect in every way. I don't know when I last slept so well. The bed was so comfy and the cottage and surroundings so quiet.

The cottage was renovated well and very comfortable. Brigitte was very nice and welcoming. The cottage is surrounded by countryside which was so relaxing.

Everything was great

The peace & tranquility, the surroundings & the freedom to explore the surrounding area. The welcome and warmth of both Brigitte & Dessie not forgetting Max. We will most certainly return & would highly recommend a visit. Could go on & on. Give it a go. ❤❤

loved everything, the views were amazing the location was so peaceful and facilities were a bonus loved the sauna

It was self catering. The location was stunning and soo peaceful. Google maps had a bit of difficulty locating it but we enquired from neighbours and found it.
