Bay View House

Bayview House was my favourite accommodation in our 3 weeks holiday in the UK. I stayed there with my husband and adult daughter for 3 nights. It is the most beautiful cottage full of old world charm. A real Seaside cottage from the past maintained frozen in time. We were met by our Host Susanne who showed us around the home. She was extremely helpful. We arrived on a sunny day and she advised us to visit the Cliffs Of Moher that day before the weather turned. This was great advice as the rain and winds hit the next morning. The Cottage sits on the edge of Lahinch Bay with views across to Lahinch. Susannes' garden is gorgeous and well maintained. Adjacent to the house are the ruins of an old fisherman's hut. From the upstairs living area you can look across the water to some rocks where we saw Puffins with the binoculars supplied. It was a real treat. The views out of every window were gorgeous. It's a short walk in to town where we had dinner at the local pub which was delicious. The Cliffs Of Moher is a short drive. Of course they are spectacular!!

The location is perfect- just outside town (quiet) but easy walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Beautiful harbor view with a quiet private garden. Susanne is delightful and so helpful.

This is a beautiful house and has the most gorgeous garden with a view across the bay. Wonderful to practice yoga in and to eat breakfast in the mornings. The living room is upstairs and is dual aspect, so there's loads of light and the view of the bay. The host, Susanne, is so welcoming and helpful. She was a wonderful host and very friendly. The location is great. Just minutes on foot from Liscannor village and close by car to Clahane Shore and Lahinch. A fabulous stay overall.

Couldn’t fault it. Had everything we needed. The beds are amazing!! The house is spotless and the views from the garden on a sunny day are to die for!! We didn’t want to leave. The host is so friendly & welcoming. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful very comfortable home! Great location within walking distance to restaurants and pub. The owner Susanne is a really nice person! She greeted us when we arrived and showed us a few helpful tips about the house. She was also kind enough to have milk and cookies for us.

A lovely place to linger. Our host Susanne was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. She personally delivered the key and explained things in the house. She even had the wood-burning stove ready for a fire. The house was very clean and appointed with personal touches. Views of the sea were wonderful. We used the provided binoculars to watch a seal sunning on the rocks in the bay. I would have no hesitation booking with Susanne again.
