MARIA'S HOUSE 1

It was a nice, cozy, clean home-like house where we felt wonderful but also lucky because nothing dramatic happened (the running water issue). The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for cooking. The person who welcomed us speaks poor English but she is benevolent and kind. It is a wonderful house for a family vacation. Once you are aware of the location, everything is close to it ( taverns, shops, the Old Square, the beach). We will definitely come back next time!

poor wifi, a quite noisy street at night because of the traffic ( a common thing for the narrow roads in Greece, I think)

There was a water shortage in the village of Pefkohori. There was no water 4 days before our arrival, but we were not informed about this. when we arrived they said it would be a few hours. we didn't have water for a week, we bathed in bottled water and were able to use the toilet that way. There was no cleaning. There is no air conditioning. The owner responded once in a week and we contacted him daily. Water was delivered to other apartments. However, they didn't ask for any of our documents, and I think it would be a great help to the local government because of the taxes. We came for two weeks and left after one week, although we would have done it sooner. The owner refused any compensation. Nightmare!!! Now we are in Afitos and it is wonderful, everything is there.

Problem with Wi-Fi, does not exist Air Conditioner, very dirty house with spiders in the bathroom, the person who welcomed us doesn't know a single word of English, the water runs out often.
