Paul the owner was very polite and helpful and very accommodating and everything was on time

we didn't dislike anything we enjoyed everything

Location was brilliant with parking right around the corner

The bathroom was far too cramped and the bed too short but I am 6ft 3 tall. Staircase was a little scary as it is very steep and narrow but understandably so.

Lovely warm reception from Paul, even though we had been delayed on the m6 for over an hour. We had plenty of tea and coffee when we arrived, which was just what we needed. Thank you, super thoughtful. Paul has managed to get a lot packed into this bijou space without it feeling overwhelming. The cottage has a lovely cute private entrance and even space outside to enjoy a morning brew to clear the hangover. Ideal for the centre of Blackpool 5 min walk to the winter Gardens. Matching clean towels smelling lenor fresh and a lovely comfortable bed. Fabulous use of the original building with ŵooden patio doors opening to the bedroom. Beautiful on a sunny evening. Patio doors opening up to the private entrance, giving it a real Mediterranean feel and lovely use of mirrors to bounce in more light. The stairs are really a cross between stairs and ladders, which added to the quirkiness of this little property with a lockable gate at the top of them, really useful. They were easy to use even when feeling a little worse for ware!!! from a great night out in Blackpool. They are steep. But they do have a handrail. There's Well stocked little French dresser and lovely homely touches and cleaning provisions, so if you are like us and are clumsy, you can clean your mess up and not worry. We most definitely would book again. Absolutely perfect for what we needed. We even managed to get some free parking, which is always a bonus. But there's a big car park just past the cafe (heading into blackpool) on the right, if street parking isn't available. Do check the street parking signs for permitted times if you do find a spot. We prefer not to use chains and support local, especially little unique and quirky finds. If that's also your thing, this is perfect for you. You won't be disappointed. If you're a brand following Costa princess, that is ultra picky and suffers from goldilocks syndrome with your coffee.

The stairs are very narrow and extremely steep

The location was very good, just a short walk to the centre.

We thought the bedroom stairs were very steep and found it difficult to use them.

It was very private, quiet and secure, the location was close to the town centre, the host is very close by in case of any problems. The stairs could be a problem if you struggle with mobility but it wasn't an issue for us. . A small but quirky little cottege that we found comfortable and we would return !

The entrance is on a back alley, which doesn't look very inviting but once inside you forget all about that. Unfortunately the host can't control that.
