Fernleigh Cottage

After a tricky start, ( which wasn’t the hosts fault in the end) I just want to thank the hosts sincerely for their quick responses and actions and going above and beyond to make a feel welcome. I can’t thank you enough for your support and kindness. We felt like we’d made a new home here, lovely location. The Napoleon Inn down the road surpassed our expectations and are so welcoming. Cute garden at the top in a sleepy slow street. You’re surrounded by people, but you’d never know it from how quiet it was. It took us around 12 mins to the harbour but we’re fit and hill ready so didn’t mind the walks. Boscastle will always be our second home and after our 5th time visiting here , Fernleigh Cottage is definitely on our list of restays if we can get booked in again ! I’m very grateful for the host’s efforts

Parking can be a problem, but I know this about Boscastle. There’s places to park near which isn’t hard to find. Other than that, nothing to dislike

House was very well equipped for our needs.

Beds not overly comfy but that is dependent on the person. Could do with mirrors in the bedrooms.

Lovely cottage, great location, nicely furnished and very clean. Was overall great!

Shower pressure could be better.

I loved the area and the cottage location plus the cottage was clean, neighbours hood kind friendly people. Beautiful family holiday experience as a whole from the cottage to the area sight seeing and people.. Loved it all. We are now planning to go again next year because we enjoyed it so much.. I have 3 teen children so as you can imagine you need to keep them happy and this made them enjoy the family holiday the most. Loved it.

I have back problems, I got bad arthritis so I am never comfortable in new beds. I found the mattresses little uncomfortable for me but my kids were comfortable. I wish mejority of places had memory foams which helps with my back problems but this was a tiny problem which is due to my own health condition.

Lovely cottage, just across the road from the pub. Two minute drive from harbour & shops & other restaurants & pubs. Great place to stay & visit other places in Cornwall.

Parking could be a problem but we managed OK
