"Exceptional"

The host had provided all the little extras you need for a caravan stay, such as tea towels, kitchen roll, toilet roll, cleaning products, tea, coffee, sugar. We even got milk and cookies upon our arrival.

Nothing to do with the host but the park could do with a little off lead area for dogs. Although there are plenty of walking places nearby.

"Comfortable"

Clean and comfortable. Good location to go exploring for the day. Used the restaurant and pool over the road, both very good. Had everything we needed.

Couldn't find any long dog walks straight from the site but we went out for the day so not really an issue for a short stay.

"Great place to stay."

The accommodation was really nice. A lot nicer than we expected. The furnishings were really high quality, and was well kitted out with appliances. The cleanliness was superb! It was immaculate. The site was nice and quiet. With it being in the lake district, there was no shortage of water and walks around it. We visited the pool and restaurant (in the site across and the road), and had a nice time. Communication was really good from the owners, with clear instructions for arrival. We often visit the lake district, and in the future we will be aiming to stay here again. We would be happy to recommend to family and friends

There was literally nothing to dislike.

"It was a wonderful stay and we all throughly enjoyed it."

It was very close to all the places I wanted to visit. Lovely lake setting, extremely clean and the beds were so comfortable. Jan was very accommodating and helpful.

They were making concrete bases for new caravans to site and wagons were dumping material on the other side of the lake in full view of ours and other caravans. Such a shame because the lake setting is so beautiful.

"Relaxing stay in a cosy caravan"

It was spacious and cosy loved the kitchen

The smoke alarm was way too sensitive had to stand there flapping a towel whilst I had the oven on there was no smoke anywhere and had the door wide open

Only negative was area around the lake was unkept/unloved which let it down
