Sawley in the Forest of Bowland - cosy cottage.

The cottage was a perfect home from home, it had everything you could need. The bed was super comfortable. There were smart tvs in the lounge area and the bedroom. The whole cottage was finished to an excellent standard. We never met/saw Kim but I’m sure she would have been around if anything was amiss. The log burner and private garden are both welcome bonuses. It was very quiet and we had a lovely time. The cottage manual was a god send. I didn’t know how to work the electric job but all the appliance manuals are at hand in a cupboard. Sawley Abby is literally 3mins on foot from the property. The cottage was clean to a very high standard. the bathroom is small but being a larger lady was more than adequate.

Lovely location in the Forest of Bowland. The cottage was well equipped, nicely decorated and furnished. Couldn't fault it.

beautifully furnished and cosy cottage with stunning views. quiet and peaceful location with lovely wood burning stove perfect for a weekend whilst attending a nearby wedding. hope to be back for walking in this lovely area

Everything was great!

Vehicle access is narrow for a larger car and I had to guide my husband. Nothing can be done to alleviate this issue unless there’s somewhere else to park for people with bigger vehicles.

lovely little cottage in a beautiful location. the weather was fantastic so I loved opening the bi fold doors and having our own little garden overlooking the fields and the hills.

the bathroom was very small

Wonderful to be able to sit in the garden. Gorgeous big windows. Great kitchen for cooking.
