Everything was perfect 10/10. Very good communication with the owner. He has a wide knowledge of local attractions. Thanks to him we visited outstanding Alnwick castle and gardens. Moreover dozens of maps and booklets are available. We spent a great time exploring Teesdale and North Cumberland. I wish I could back there someday.

Well appointed,comfortable, clean everything you would need for a stay was on hand. Situated in a picturesque neighborhood, good local amenities including shop,pub,social club and a very good chinese takeaway. The property is also close to Raby Castle,which proved to be an interesting way to spend a day out.Also close by is Barnard Castle and Bishop Auckland as well as Hamsterley Forest. We would definitely recommend and we would definitely return.

Location excellent for our needs

The location was great for us as we were visiting family in Copley so was only 7 mins away. The owner was really helpful & friendly, great communication! It's a cute little cottage, games for the kids & useful information in the kitchen. Everything you need under the stairs in the cupboard. The double bed was very comfy. WiFi connection good and parking at the front.

The sofas were really lumpy, in desperate need of replacing. The carpets would benefit from a good clean and maybe an upgrade on the TV in the living room. We also struggled with the mirrors, they are all really high except for the bathroom! A dressing table mirror & a chair in the big bedroom on the windowsill would be really useful for doing make up 🙂
