NLA great house with a great host. Everything you are looking for in a house is there. I lost my wallet at the store, due to a lack of language the host went after it and I found it again. All questions are possible and responds quickly!

CAlocation to Plitvice lakes
HUWe spent an enjoyable long weekend here. The house was nice, clean, well-equipped and comfortably accommodated 2 families (7 people). The house had a large yard and 3 terraces where you could sit out and enjoy the sun. The location of the house was also great, it is in a quiet area and it took about 15 minutes to drive to entrance 2 of the Plitvice Lakes. The owner and the housekeeper were also very kind and helpful. Overall we were very satisfied.

GBNice house with a lovely garden area - a good space for children to play and some play equipment provided (badminton rackets, sandpit, ball). There are lots of outside seating areas including sun loungers and tables and chairs. Bikes were provided which was fun for exploring the local area and some forest trails, these are in walking distance from the house. I don't think there are any shops in walking distance - it seems like it is almost exclusively holiday homes which were mostly empty when we visited in April. Very well located for Plitvice Falls. Not too far from some places to eat out, bakeries, supermarkets and cafes. Rastoke is a nice place locally to visit and Rastoke Nature Fun do really fun kayaking tours (age 7+). Zeljeva is an interesting place to explore - we enjoyed seeing the old planes but weren't brave enough to go into the tunnels. Also a good location to stay if you want to visit Bosnia - not far from Bihac and the Una river. In summer there are other activities locally but most of these were closed in April. Collecting the keys and dropping them off afterwards was very straightforward - I think the housekeeper lives nearby. For some reason Booking would only allow us to book for 4 people or 6 people when we wanted 5. Lots of wood was provided for the woodburner.
A previous review mentions a grill (and the information provided in the property does too) but there was not one available and nowhere to cook outside. Would be useful to have a bike pump and allen keys for adjusting the bike saddles. Others have mentioned the damp smell - the property smelt generally ok whilst we were there but either the sofa or the blanket on it had a damp smell to it.
SKNLThe location is good, close to Plitvice park. Inside of the house is cool and doesn't need air-conditioning at all
The house is very old. Facilities are outdated. There is only bath no shower holder so taking shower is inconvenient.
